Breaking my Twitter silence to give major eye roll at the news of a celebration of the 30-year Donaldson/Scheffler collaboration being reported with a picture of Donaldson only. #picturesmeanbusiness #therewouldbenoGruffalowithouthim

UPDATE! I’ve received an email of apology from SCBWI, & they pledge to improve the process in the future so that illustrators receive due credit when announcing the winners etc. A small win for #picturesmeanbusiness, let’s all remember illustrators make a valuable contribution.

And speaking of @tracihuahn, kudos to Traci for including credit to (and taking the time to tag) illustrator @michellieart in her picture book announcement! ❤️ So many writers neglect to do this. #PicturesMeanBusiness
